On this tour we make a lot of altitude metres for the low summit altitude on a slope that is ideal in the upper part. In the lower part, the descent is not quite as rewarding, but this is not a bad thing due to the low effort.
From the car park, we walk approx. 100 m north-west along the Burgangerweg and then turn right. Here we strap on our skis and follow the path past the Wannerles-Alpe to the Micheles-Alpe. Shortly after this, we leave the path and climb up the slope to the right. We keep to the left and soon cross a ridge, after which we keep to the right and climb up to the ridge;
For the descent, we keep roughly in the middle of the slope to make as many vertical metres as possible in ideal terrain. We keep to the right of the Micheles-Alpe but to the left of the group of trees, as the barbed wire fence is only open there. Then follow the slope slightly to the right and go through an open barbed wire fence again to the edge of the forest. Here we have to fight our way through the forest for a short distance before we turn right and come back to the ascent route in a large left-hand bend on a path. We follow this for about 100 m and then turn right across the meadow until we meet the path again and follow it to the starting point.
