Liverpool: The Way of Blessed Dominic Barberi (GPX only)

A Pilgrim Way from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King to the Diocesan Shrine of Blessed Dominic Barberi in St Helens via the Blessed Sacrament Shrine in central Liverpool.

After leaving the Cathedral the way passes the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in central Liverpool before reaching the waterfront. The route follows the River Mersey along the Trans Pennine Trail to Sefton Park. The route passes Calderstones Botanic Garden to join the Liverpool Loop Line path at Gateacre. The Way crosses farmland by lane and track to reach the Church of St Bartholomew at Rainhill, then on through the outskirts of St Helens to the Shrine of Blessed Dominic Barberi.
