Nice route through the Xanderklinge (gorge). The way there is quite easy and leads over wide forest and meadow paths. The gorge itself impresses with a great untouched landscape (sometimes there are a few trees in the way) and is technically a bit difficult, but it is suitable for people who are good walkers and older children. We recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes.
Author’s recommendation
The gorge's path is quite demanding; there are a few steps to climb, and a few times, you have to walk through the water. On one ascent, you can climb the wall with the help of a rope and iron nails. The nails are hard to see, you have to search a little bit, but then the ledge is easy to overcome.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the parking lot at Krabba-Nescht, follow the route shortly through the village, over fields and meadows into the forest. Then on wide (partly good, partly a little dilapidated) paths downhill to the Nagold. Walk a bit along the railway line and then into the Xanderklinge gorge. Follow it unit the end. Return on wide paths back to Holzbronn and the Krabba-Nescht parking space.
