Turn-by-turn directions
From the valley station, you walk back the same way you came to the bridge by the tennis courts.
When you get to the bridge, BEAR LEFT and walk past the sports field. At the fork in the road BEAR RIGHT on the narrower path and follow the Traun River, along its left bank. CROSS a small bridge and pass the playground on the right, always following the course of the Traun river. The promenade finally leads you back to the Kaiserin-Elisabeth-Bridge.

We recommend that you wear well-worn hiking shoes with a good profile. In addition, a waterproof rain jacket and rain pants in bad weather and sunscreen and a sun hat in good weather.
Always take enough water with you (at least 1 litre). Hiking sticks can take the strain off your knees when hiking
