Enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast of locally made cheese, hams, fresh crusty bread, boiled eggs and coffee before setting off on the Bürgl Panorama Trail from Strobl to the serene Schwarzensee.
Ascend on wooden steps and after a steep but short climb, the idyllic lake beckons for a refreshing swim. Walk around the lake then continue on the trail down to St. Wolfgang, where you can enjoy a drink in one of the lovely lake-side beer gardens before returning to Strobl by bus or scenic ferry.
In rainy weather, the trails can be muddy and slippery. Take footwear with good tread that gives you support.
Inquire about the current weather conditions (e.g. in your accommodation or at the local tourist information office) and watch the weather changes. Pay attention to any diversion information.
Please do not enter the pastures despite the diversion sign and follow the diversion until you are back on the regular path.
