This mountain hike leads up to the impressive summit plateau of the Besler, whose summit we reach on an easy via ferrata;

We hike up to the summit plateau of the Besler. It consists of a large limestone plateau that is unique in the Nagelfluh Nature Park. Normally, the landscape is dominated by the rocks Nagelfluh or Flysch. On the Besler, however, large rock walls dominate the landscape. A short, rope-secured via ferrata leads to the summit. You don't need any additional equipment for this. Those who do not dare to climb can also reach the summit via the signposted normal route. From the summit, the trail heads south downhill and around the Schafkopf. For those who are hungry at the end of the hike, the Schönbergalpe offers a snack and drinks. From June to September, about 85 head of young cattle, 2 heifers and 2 Haflingers with foals are cared for at the alp. It is open every day.
