The shortest hike from Brașov to Poiana Brașov (Drumul Roșu)

The Red Road - after the red band that marks it - is the fastest access road from Brașov to Poiana Brașov. In addition, from Poiana, you can continue onwards (though with more effort) to Postăvaru Cabin and to the Postăvaru peak.

„Drumul vechi al Poienii” (the old road to Poiana), as this route is also called, connects the „Pietrele lui Solomon” area to one end of Poiana Brașov resort (Poiana de Jos). Even after the inauguration of the asphalt road, it stayed just as wide as before, and just as popular both among the tourists willing to take a few steps and among the locals.

It is an ideal trek to do with children, with the family, with your dog, no matter the weather (even in the rain, for amateurs). Depending on the season, but especially in the autumn, the forest and the path hold a diverse and special charm for photographers.
