Im Dachauer Land bewegen Sie sich auf dem Zubringer zum Münchner Jakobsweg, der die Amper aufwärts bis zum Ammersee und schließlich nach Lindau führt. Etwa die Hälfte des Weges befinden Sie sich auf geteerten Wegen, die andere Hälfte verläuft auf Feld- und Kieswegen. Beschilderung: häufig dient die Jakobsmuschel der Beschilderung. Je nach Region zeigen mal die Strahlen und mal die Spitze der stilisierten Muschel den Weg an. Im Landkreis weisen Schilder in Pfeilform die Richtung.
