The circular trail around the Kleiner Alpsee is a beautiful walk along the lakeshore and offers many places to stop and rest. The little ones feel at home on the playgrounds along the path. In summer, you can jump into the cool water at the outdoor pool at the Kleiner Alpsee or enjoy the sunbathing area at the Großer Alpsee.

Author’s recommendation

At the water sports school Oberallgäu you can rent pedal boats and rowing boats and explore the Großer Alpsee.

Turn-by-turn directions

We start our tour at Alpsee Camping in Bühl and walk first in the direction of the main road (Trieblingser Weg). We turn right into this road. We follow the road until the next crossing, where we turn right. Shortly before the level crossing we turn left into the small gravel path which branches off there. In the beginning, we are still surrounded by fields, but little by little we reach the shore of the Kleiner Alpsee. If you need a little cooling off, take a detour to the outdoor pool at the Kleiner Alpsee.

The path leads past the parking space and the sunbathing area and we turn right into the bathing path. On the small bridge, which spans over the Konstanzer Ach, you have the best view of the Kleiner Alpsee, in the other direction, you can see the Grünten mountain. The path leads us towards the railway tracks. Here, we stay right. We leave the tennis courts and a parking space behind us and follow the footpath along with the Konstanzer Ach. The gravel path leads into the Seestraße at the end. We take a break at the lake promenade and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Großer Alpsee. We can stop at the Gasthaus am Alpsee.

Here, too, a jump into the cold water from the footbridge is possible. To get back to Alpsee Camping, we simply walk along the lake promenade.
