A leisurely walk around the Zaga Zaga Land Complex
There is only one path, so there is no danger of getting lost. This circles the entire property and can be walked both ways.
The trail can be and is worth walking at almost any time and any season. Thanks to the tree canopies and tall vegetation, you get shade and close to mid-day.
At a brisk pace, with short breaks for taking photos and admiring nature, the walk takes about an hour. If you plan to take several breaks, don't forget to bring a blanket to lie on and a bottle of water.

Turn-by-turn directions
After a few minutes, however, we pass this unattractive place and enter a woodland. To our left is the lake and to our right is the property fence. Vegetation abounds everywhere and the effort to plant saplings along this stretch is noteworthy and commendable.
The road curves to the left and to your right is Swan Lake. The area teems with life, various waterfowl nest here. You can also spot water snakes (one crossed the path in front of us). These are neither venomous nor aggressive.
Continuing on the trail we pass an apple orchard and enter another forest. We approach the end of the trail and the Barn can be seen on the right, followed by Aventura Park.
Our trail ends near Reception, from where we continue to the bungalow where we were staying.
Note
Getting there
Located 20 km from Focșani and just 12 km from Tecuci, you can reach Zaga Zaga Land as follows:
- Iasi: the 180 km will be covered on the DN24, then from Crasna on the E581
- Bucharest: most of the 213 km will be on the E85. Near your destination, at Tișița, take the E581. From here you have less than 14 km to your destination
- from Cluj-Napoca you have 444 km to go - prepare for a long day behind the wheel. You'll drive on DN16, E578, DN12A, E851 and E581
- Craiova: although the distance is the same (446 km), you drive faster (plus a stretch of motorway). We recommend E578 to Pitești, from there E81 to the capital ring road
- Timișoara: it takes more than one working day to cover the 600 km. The A1 takes you past Sibiu and from there you take the E68 to Brasov. Continue on the E574, then DN2D, DN2L. The last few kilometres from Tișița on the E581.
