Please note: Due to a defective bridge, the passage to Herrstein via Hosenbachtal is currently closed (route hidden in overview map). Please use the route via Niederhosenbach on site.

The panoramic tour on the sunny plateau in EdelSteinLand offers fantastic views on a route length of approx. 40 km as you ride over the plateau heights. Starting points are Berschweiler near Kirn, the Fischbach copper mine or historic Herrstein.
Due to the varied topography, this is a sporty tour that is also suitable for e-bikes. The trail partly follows the Nahe-Hunsrück-Mosel cycle path and is thus connected to the Nahe cycle path at Fischbach. There is also a connection to the new National Park Cycle Route (also opening in 2021), which will run for approx. 85 km around the National Park.

The cycling route "Panoramic tour on the sunny plateau" starts in Berschweiler near Kirn, at the "Landgasthaus & Pension Schmidthöfer". From there it goes via Bergen, Griebelschied, Sonnschied, Wickenrodt, Oberhosenbach, Breitenthal and Niederhosenbach to Herrstein and finally to Fischbach. At the historic copper mine in Fischbach there is the possibility to stop at the "Kupferstube" and also a charging station for e-bikes.
