The Neamț Citadel is a medieval fortress in Moldavia, located on the Timuș rock on the Pleşu Hill, at a height of 80 m from the level of river Neamţ. From here, it watched the valley of Moldavia and the Siret, as well as the road that crossed the mountain to Transylvania.
