International Airport "Traian Vuia" Timișoara
Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport is an international airport serving Timișoara and the region Banat.
It is the third-busiest Romanian airport in terms of air traffic, and the main air transportation hub for the western part of Romania.
The airport serves as an operating base for Wizz Air, and is considered a backup airport for Bucharest (OTP), Budapest (BUD) and Belgrade (BEG).
The airport is named in honour of Traian Vuia, a Romanian flight pioneer and a Timiș County native.
The airlines Lufthansa, Tarom, WizzAir and Ryanair offer direct flights to the following destinations:

Public transport
The express bus lines E4 and E4barred connect the airport with Timișoara (Bastion or Nord Station). The timetable is published on the website of the local transport company:http://www.ratt.ro/grafice_scoala.html
Parking
Near the airport there are two paid parking spaces available.
