The restaurant, part of the Eibenthal project, serves customers with traditional Czech dishes and manages to turn a remote and depopulated village into a tourist destination.

With the opening of the first restaurant in the Czech Banat, opportunities were created to show the tourist potential of the region. After the closure of the coal mines, the development of ecological tourism became an important source of income for most of the locals. Because of this opportunity, the restaurant is a strategic point in the local economy and for tourism in the region.

In the restaurant you can choose between Czech and Banat specialties such as chops (ciolan), ribs, goulash, cabbage rolls (sarmale), pasta or soups. You can then drink different types of beer from Pilsner Urquell and Ursus or lemonade from Kofola (for which some come here especially).
